I’m trying something new, and participating in the Spring Carnival Blog Hop. It’s a chance for book bloggers to help promote one anther, find new favourite blogs to follow, and reward our readers.

From Mat 1 to 8, visit the participating blogs for your chance to win great book prizes. I am giving away a $20 gift card to your choice of Chapters.ca or Amazon.com.

  30. The book I am starting this week is a review copy of The Woman by Jack Ketchum and Lucky McKee. The film adaptation came out at Sundance and sparked a bit of controversy, apparently. Curious to see how wrenching the book is.

  72. I just finished Never Knowing by Chevy Stevens. It was awesome! I also recommend her other novel Still Missing. It was one of my favorite reads from 2010. I’m not sure what I am going to read next, but I am leaning towards The Pull of the Moon by Elizabeth Berg.

  95. I’m currently reading Roadside Assistance by Amy Clipston. Its about this tomboy girl that likes to fix cars. She and her father have to move to her aunt’s house (father’s sis) because with the death of her mother, they ended up having financial trouble. The catch is that her neighbor at her aunt’s house is fixing a car. And her aunt wants her to be girly, like her cousin. And that’s all in the first chapter!
